As the President is calling for opening of Churches, which in tern would mean any religious institution, let’s remember our Sunnah.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If you hear of an outbreak of plague in a land, do not enter it; but if the plague breaks out in a place while you are in it, do not leave that place."
Muslims are not in mass calling for reopening of Masjids (Mosque) around the world or here in the USA. We have refrained from the Masjid at a time of the year, Ramadan, where Muslims are most attached to the Masjid. The COVID-19 disease is difficult to deal. Being away from our communities and our places of worship is just as difficult on our minds and hearts.
Keep strong servants of God, the reward is great when you practice the Sunnah, which in this case, staying under strict quarantine or social distancing type rules.
May the Owner of Creation bless you all and keep you safe from this ‘plague’.
