[important]The ICLP Halaqa schedule has been changed.[/important] We will now be hosting the Halaqa on a weekly basis on Fridays from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. There will no longer be a potluck during the Halaqa time but everyone is free to bring food, snacks, deserts, tea, etc to share.
We found that Sunday’s have become a difficult day to get a significant amount of ICLP community members to come to the Masjid as many go out of town or are busy preparing for the week ahead. Inshallah, this new time will allow for us as a community to utilize the Masjid for Maghrib and Isha while attending a community social event.
We would like to invite everyone to contribute toward the discussion topics. If you have any suggestions, concerns, or curiosities you would like discussed during the ‘Halaqa’, please feel free to email [email protected].
The plan going forward is to officially kick off this new schedule on Friday, April 27, 2012. If the weather permits, we may have a BBQ prior to the Halaqa.
