Reminders for tomorrow’s reopening of the Masjid for Friday Jumu’ah: Please arrive before 1:00 pm. Remain in your cars for temperature checks. Each occupant will be temperature checked while you are in your car as you drive in. Please keep your car AC on your normal settings. If anyone in your car surpasses 99 degrees F, all occupants will be denied entry to the Masjid.
Inside the Masjid there are notable changes: there will be marked areas where you may line up for prayer. We will not be standing shoulder to shoulder. There will be approximately 6 feet of separation within each row. Each row naturally have 4 feet of separation. There is now additional space upstairs where the refrigerators used to be. There are 4 additional rows in the basement. The basement does not currently have a video feed but the khutbah and prayer will be heard.
There will only be 1 khutbah. There are considerable resources that are in shortage required to disinfect between services. We will only have 1 service per Friday.
Please be mindful of the guidelines. If you have not read them, do so as soon as possible. We are not at the stage yet where you should consider socializing with others inside of the Masjid. Meetings in the Masjid are currently limited to only the board members to discuss Masjid matters. As a result, we have deleted the old door access code. For the immediate future, the new code will only be given to a very few amount. For anyone with the code to the doors, you are responsible to keep that code to yourself. You are responsible to clean up after yourself and to sanitize areas that you utilize. If you are exposed to anyone with COVID-19, you must not enter the Masjid for any reason for 14 days after that exposure and only after you are clear from not being sick.
