ICLP Reopening – June 26, 2020 – Limited

Assalamu alaikum. ICLP will begin our first phase of reopening of the ICLP Masjid this Friday, June 26, 2020. Jumuah will begin at 1:10 PM EST. Due to the procedures that we will be following to maintain a safe space for the community, please arrive at the Masjid by no later than 1:00 PM. Please read the guidelines that are attached.

Following the guidelines of the State Authorities, The ICLP Board; have decided to re-open the doors of the Masjid (Mosque) on Friday June-26 with strict guidelines in effect. The health and safety of our community is still our top priority; hence we humbly request all members to adhere to the established guidelines. Basement will be available for overflow with carpet runners.

  1. The maximum capacity of the Masjid will be limited to less than 50% and will be allowed in a first-come-first-serve basis.
  2. Senior citizens; individuals with underlying health conditions and kids under the age of 12 are not permitted to enter considering their own safety.
  3. If you have been in contact with a COVID-19 patient or if you are feeling any of the COVID-19 symptoms, please refrain from coming to the Masjid
  4. Hand sanitizing stations will be placed at the entrance and lines for entry/exit will be monitored for social distancing measures
  5. Social distancing measure (6-feet from others) will be observed during all times. Including prayer time.  No physical contact, including shaking hands; embracing etc.
  6. No exceptions: Face masks must be worn always within the Masjid
  7. No exceptions: Bring your own prayer mat when you are coming to the Masjid
  8. No exceptions: Perform your wudu at home; or before coming to the Masjid.  In an effort to keep the Masjid sanitized, the wudu area will be unavailable.
  9. No exceptions: No socializing activities will be permitted within the Masjid premises

We know this is going to be quite a different experience than what you remember as we are all working our best to ensure the safety of our community.
