Fundraiser Update

Assalamu alaikum,

Jazak Allahu Khairan to everyone who contributed funds and help with the setup and breakdown for the fundraiser on Saturday, 7/11/2015, at the Prince Frederick Masjid.

Jazak Allahu Khairan to the Prince Frederick community for hosting this fundraiser and helping us achieve our community goals.

To start the fundraiser we set a goal of $30,000 for finishing the basement and starting work on the kitchen. Allah bless the believer who started the donations on Friday with a $5,000 pledge. Mash Allah the community also put in an additional $2003 after Jumu’ah at the ICLP Masjid. During the fundraiser Allah blessed us with another $19,890.00 in primarily cash and check donations.

The blessings of giving so generously during Ramadan will be too many to count.

The total for this fundraising event is: $26,893. That leaves us with just $3,107 to meet our goal before the end of Ramadan. Please reach out to your family and friends to offer them the opportunity to help your community Masjid Insha Allah.

Allah, SWT said in The Holy Quraan:

<

"who is He that will loan to Allah a beautiful loan, which Allah will double unto His credit and multiply many times? it is Allah that giveth (you) Want or plenty, and to Him shall be your return." Surah Al Baqara, Ayat 245.

In a Hadith, The Prophet Mohammad,SAWS, said:

"Giving away something in charity does not cause any decrease in a person’s wealth, but increases it instead. The person who adopts humility for the sake of Allah is exalted in ranks by Him". Hadith from Sahih Muslim
