Eid al-Fitr is currently assumed to be on Thursday, 13 May. Eid prayer will be held at the ICLP Masjid this year.
When: May 13, 2021 / 1st Shawwal 1442
Time: 0830 EST, 8:30 am EST – Takbir
Where: ICLP Masjid – inside and outside if the weather is good
Would you like to bring something to share (fruits, drinks, breakfast finger foods)? You are free to do so. We will set up stations where you can grab and go.
Eid al-Fitr is right around the corner, you can pay the obligatory Zakat ul-Fitr early or before the Imam starts the prayer at approximately 9 am. Pay early so you are not rushed to complete this obligatory act of charity. The Zakat ul-Fitr is $10 per person in your household.
If you are unable to pay in person or send the fitr early electronically, please use one of the trustworthy charities to make donations like https://irusa.org/. The ICLP Masjid will donate the funds or food items to locals in need and/or to the local food bank.
